Meet the Speakers—AAML/BVR 2022 National Divorce Conference: Part 2

The 2022 AAML/BVR National Divorce Conference is only two weeks away! With the conference fast approaching, we thought it was only fitting to introduce some of the amazing speakers who were scheduled to present. If you missed the first “Meet the speakers” article, you can catch up here. Without further ado, let’s meet our speakers!

Adam John Wolf

Credentials: Lawyer

For 25 years, Adam John Wolff has settled and, when necessary, argued and adjudicated disputes involving divorce, equitable distribution, custody and visitation, and other areas of family law and marital practice. Adam’s unique ability to understand the complex financial aspects of complicated cases, while remaining sensitive to the deeply personal issues of family law cases as well as maintaining a dry wit, sets him apart in the industry.

His commitment to clear and persuasive writing benefits the firm’s clients in both settlement and litigation. He is also a Fellow of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers, where he holds several leadership positions, including as President of the New York Chapter. Adam is also on the Events Committee for the 2022 AAML/BVR National Divorce Conference.

James R. Hitchner:

Mr. Hitchner is Managing Director of Financial Valuation Advisors Inc. (FVA), a firm specializing in valuation, financial and litigation/judicial services. He also has Jim Hitchnerfounded Valuation Products and Services (VPS), a company dedicated to educating BV through its publications, webinars and other resources.

Mr. Hitchner is the editor and co-author of Financial valuation applications and models, 3rd Edition; co-author of Financial Evaluation Book, 3rd Edition; co-author of Valuation for Financial Reporting, Intangible Assets, Goodwill and Impairment Analysis, SFAS 141 and 142, 3rd Edition; and co-author of PPC Business Valuation Guide, 23rd edition. Jim is on the events committee for the 2022 AAML/BVR National Divorce Conference.

Stacy Collins

Qualifications: CPA/ABV, CFF

Ms. Collins has practiced as an accountant since 1989 and has specialized in business valuation and related matters since 1993. She is a frequent speaker and author on business valuation, forensic accounting and related matters. His Stacy Collinsexperience includes marriage dissolution cases, corporate litigation, estate planning valuations and transactions. She has provided expert testimony on valuation and forensic matters in several states.

Ms. Collins is a founding member of the Forensic and Business Valuation Division of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers (AAML) Foundation. She was a faculty member for several years of the American Bar Association-sponsored Family Law Trial Advocacy Institute and AAML’s Institute for Family Law Associates. Stacy is also one of the Co-Chairs of the 2022 AAML/BVR National Divorce Conference Events Committee.
