A resource for the deaf community

The “deaf community” is large. The community includes all those who touch the lives of people who are deaf and hard of hearing, including children, family, friends, employers, caregivers, co-workers, interpreters and service providers. Our goal at IMPACT CIL is to increase communication, awareness and education between all of these people so that we can all work together more effectively. These services are an essential part of our charitable mission: advocacy, information and referral, peer support and counseling, and independent living skills training.

IMPACT CIL Deaf Services serves consumers who are deaf, hard of hearing, late deaf, deafblind and speech impaired. No matter how they communicate, our services can help you achieve equal access, effective communication and a better quality of life. All individuals, their families, the agencies and organizations that serve them and individuals can request our services. Services are free, with the exception of sign language courses.
