Founded in 1979, Action Against Hunger is a non-governmental organization that fights against hunger. Its charter of humanitarian principles – independence, neutrality, non-discrimination, free and direct access to victims, professionalism, transparency – has been part of its identity for more than 40 years. Its mission is to save lives by ending hunger through the prevention, detection and treatment of undernutrition, especially during and after emergencies related to conflicts or natural disasters. Under the supervision of the Head of MEAL Department, you will contribute to increasing the impact of programs by setting up an effective monitoring and evaluation system at the grassroots level. In details, you will be responsible for: – Ensure use of MEAL systems for ACF programs at grassroots level to ensure compliance with donors and ACF MEAL standards – Ensure proper and timely reporting of MEAL activities – Build capacity of core MEAL staff through trainings, mentorships and coaching to ensure quality control of monitoring and evaluation activities – Ensure proper implementation of feedback mechanism and respond to grievances at grassroots level represent the organization at state level and promote ACF technical views, guidelines and working methods


You hold a Master’s degree in economics, social sciences, commerce, administration, statistics, demography or a related field with previous experience working in humanitarian projects. You have at least 3 years of previous experience working with NGOs covering multi-sector programming, in MEAL area with donors such as BHA, ECHO and DFID etc. You are fluent in English (written and spoken) (+ Ukrainian is preferred)
