2021 Vision of Trees will take place on November 20 at Life Fellowship – The Fort Morgan Times
This year, Vision of Trees will take place on Saturday, November 20 at Life Fellowship Church in Fort Morgan.
The fundraising event will start at 10 a.m. and continue until 3 p.m., and everyone is welcome and invited to attend.
The event is sponsored in part by Life Fellowship Church and is designed to raise funds for local Morgan County charities. Their slogan reads: “Someday… Lives Are Changing All Over Morgan County,” and they hope to attract a large audience to do so.
There will be performers from local schools, such as singers, dancers, a pianist and more throughout the day for attendees to enjoy. There will also be a silent auction and a gift shop where people can purchase local crafts and gifts.
There will be no virtual option for the silent auction, so people are encouraged to attend if they wish to make a bid. Father Christmas will also be invited from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. and from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m.
Local businesses will have decorated trees that will be displayed throughout the space. They will be decorated on the basis of various themes and full of color and fun. People will be able to vote for who they think they have the best tree for. Then, at the end of the day, the company with the tree with the most votes will have the option of choosing a local charity that they want a portion of the day’s proceeds to be donated to.
“This is a one-day event that changes lives across Morgan County, and giving back to the community is very important,” said Lacey Smith, Vision of Trees committee member.
Admission donations and all profits from the day will go to local charities throughout Morgan County.
